LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM; 12 MARCH, 2024 – Today, NME (nme.com) in partnership with Bose announce C24, the next installment in NME’s iconic C-Series, and partner with social music creation platform BandLab to give one unsigned emerging artist the chance to appear on the mixtape.
As part of Bose x NME C24, BandLab’s global community of 60 million creators will be invited to submit an original track to be judged by the C24 panel. The winning entrant will be included on Bose x NME C24 and feature prominently in the campaign. The Bose x NME C24 BandLab programme is open now and will close at midnight GMT on April 8th 2024. Bose x NME C24 continues the series’ mission of being the definitive showcase of the future of music packed with original and exclusive tracks from the most exciting and innovative emerging artists set to break through and become the festival headliners of tomorrow. This essential compilation represents a pivotal moment in the new music landscape, giving an elevated platform to diverse new artists and connecting them with music fans across the world, celebrating Bose and NME’s shared commitment to championing incredible new music.
The lineup announcement will be made ahead of the mixtape’s release in the summer of 2024. Available on digital platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, and Soundcloud, the release coincides with a special C24 print edition of NME Magazine that explores the stories of the featured artists, their respective scenes, and the evolving legacy of the C-Series. The release will also be accompanied by a limited run of 500 hand-numbered C24 vinyl and an ultra-limited run of C24 cassette tapes.
