LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM; 19 JULY, 2024 – Today, NME (nme.com) in partnership with Bose, a brand obsessed with sound for 60 years, have released the latest instalment in NME’s iconic C-Series mixtape – with a limited-edition NME C24 magazine, vinyl, and cassettes available later this month.
Stream / download the NME C24 Mixtape
Now in its second year, NME’s C24 collaboration with Bose showcases the future of music with established and breakout artists. Available to stream and download across all platforms now, this year’s edition boasts a full tracklist of previously unreleased exclusive new songs from some of the hottest artists in the world.
24-year-old Londoner Artemas’s contribution to NME C24 sees the rising star upend expectations and point to an ever-evolving future. ‘So Stunning’ is expansive; powered by crunching guitars and thunderous percussion, offset by his vulnerable falsetto.
“It’s introducing a part of my sound that I haven’t put out into the world,” he tells NME, “but [which] I have been working on for a while: the big kind of glamorous synths. I’ve got a few songs that are like that, with the alt-rock outro where it hits you in the face out of nowhere.”
Today, Artemas is also revealed as the latest subject of bespoke new NME video series On Tape. The Gen-Z musician met with NME at Four Quarters – the Peckham arcade that played host to some of his first hangouts with friends, and dates upon moving to London – to capture a thrilling performance of ‘So Stunning’.

Watch On Tape: Teddy Swims
Earlier this month, NME revealed the On Tape series with an exclusive new video from breakthrough Georgia-born singer-songwriter, Teddy Swims, during which features Swims was inked on the spot in a London tattoo parlour, and talked about his hard-won rise to stardom before laying down a scintillating live performance of his exclusive new song ‘Funeral’.
Written earlier this year, as Swims sought solace during a chaotic Grammys week by holing up in the studio with songwriting collaborators Julian Bunetta (One Direction, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter, Thomas Rhett, Jess Glynn), Jaten Diimsdale, Mikky Ekko, Jon Green and Whitney Phillips., ‘Funeral’ which has garnered 2M+ streams on Spotify and landed over 400 playlists in the first week, offers an update on the healing journey chronicled in his debut album I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part One), which reached the top 20 in both the US and UK, and its Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping (and UK number 2-charting) lead single ‘Lose Control’.
The full C24 mixtape features seven exclusive songs recorded by Teddy Swims, Artemas, Laufey, Royal Otis, Lola Young and Samara Cyn. Alongside them is Tehya, who was hand-picked by the judges of C24’s new artist competition in association with social music creation platform BandLab to find an unsigned emerging artist to get their big break by featuring on the mixtape.
