LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM; 26 MARCH, 2026 – NME (nme.com), the globally renowned music and pop culture brand founded in 1952, today announces the March/April 2026 edition of NME Magazine with Liberia-born, Tennessee-raised folk artist Mon Rovîa as cover star. The March/April 2026 issue of NME Magazine launches as a bundle with a new edition of MusicTech Magazine featuring visionary singer and producer KÁRYYN on the cover.
In his NME cover story, Mon Rovîa speaks with NME about his journey from Liberia to Tennessee, the ‘Afro Appalachian’ sound that synthesises his identity and dual heritage, and the purposeful, deeply human storytelling behind his folk music — rooted in resilience, empathy, and love. “Music really is a powerful thing. The weight and responsibility of it is something I keep in mind,” he reflects. “I am a reflection of the people that love me, not of the people who have trespassed on my soul.”
In the March/April issue, readers will also find the massive NME 100 of 2026 feature, showcasing NME’s global list of emerging artists to watch this year. This edition also includes interviews with British R&B newcomer Natanya, electroclash hero Peaches, South Korean movie star Lee Byung-Hun and breakout Industry actress Miriam Petche. The reviews section dives into latest albums from Yungblud, Charli XCX, Hemlocke Springs and more.
The new issue of NME Magazine is available exclusively at nme.com/magazine. Superfans subscribed to the NME Magazine mailing list are eligible for queue-jump access before each drop.
This issue is accompanied by the March/April 2026 issue of MusicTech Magazine, which features visionary singer and producer KÁRYYN on the cover ahead of her new album PULL. Speaking with MusicTech, KÁRYYN delves into her boundary-dissolving approach to sound-making — exploring voice as technology, time as a collaborator, and how she approaches her art-pop practice. “I am not really making music. I am collaging sounds together… It is a 3D tapestry,” she explains.
